So I was waiting in anticipation for this to come out but didnt buy it because it was Christmas time. Now its sold out! I see thier other cables seem to come back in stock but can any tell me much of thier buisness model, I will pay the jacked up prices on ebay if they dont plan to make more but I can wait, I just dont want to pay even more down the road if they dont end up making more.

Says here they will be in stock @ Amazon.com in January:

Honestly though, the results are not impressive - this coming from someone with a 32' HDTV. The image quality is so soft, I'd argue that PS2 games look better on the PS3 Emulation that the quality of this cable. It's jsut so soft and naff. I plugged it up, tested 2 or 3 games and instantly knew it was garbage. As someone who has been seeking a reasonable way to hook up my PS2 to a HDTV with clarity, this is not the answer.

Man you have everything lol. I just wanted it as a PS1 hook up, from what I can see on youtube it looks pretty decent in that respect.

The deal breaker for me was the fact that this cable will display the image in 16:9. I don't want to play my PS1 games that way. I'm glad that these things are being developed, but I will wait until the next version that will hopefully have the issues worked out.

Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

I did side-by-side comparisons. If your TV has 4:3 mode available, It's a great purchase. Otherwise, not so much.
