Vivi... why do you always put your games in plastic baggies? I would think it's a hassle to get them out every time you want to play something...
And lots of good games, there! Must say I own most of those PS2-games, as well. Good stuff!

But that Steelbook version of Yakuza Kiwami... not so much. Love the game! Just hate steelbooks. That's why I got the regular release. ^^

It just makes sense to me, most of the time the games are on the shelf unused, until the magic moment comes when I take out the disc for play! Even then I often keep the disc in the console for many days. I do have a few loose cases where I keep online games which I'm into at the moment for quicker access but in general I don't find it a hinderance. I have a good consistent seller on eBay I use too

As for the Yakuza steelbook, I think it is spanking! Love the design of this one with the slip cover having a gap showing the image of Haruka on the steelbook. My rule for steelbook is I only get them if they have slipcases, the delicacy of them intimidates me. But honestly, I'm thrilled with this steelbook, I have took photos for the database whcih I'll upload Asap

Arriving arrivals:

Snagged the FEAR games cheap @ GAME, updated them on the database so they're easier to find. I saw there was a standard print of Hitman Season 1 circulating now, so i decided to pounce on a Steelbook Edition before its to late. Also pleased with my Lord of the Rings: War in t he North Steelbook, ben after that for a while now and got a decent deal on it.

Few odd entries:

I replaced my standard Edition King of Fighters XIV for the Day One Steelbook - Seller on eBay had it cheap so I boguht and sold mine for a fair return.
I finally got the odd release of GTA San Andreas on PS3, a really weird release that popped up last year even after GTA5 was released.
I got Dishonoreds DLC release, looking forward to getting into this & Lolli Pop Chainsaw... Well I don't mind Suda51's other games and I got it cheap...

Many interesting ps4 titles I'd have to say.

I really wonder if they are advertised well , good to see 505 games(street) still publishing games.

Abzu seems quite interesting I'd have to say

It's crazy how many interesting titles are available now for the PS4. It feels strange to say that the PS4 has some huge potential to eventually become my favorite system of all time (PS1 currently holds that title). It's also funny to think that I avoided the PS4 for over a year after release because there was nothing on the system that interested me. On a similar note, I'm now finally starting to see enough titles exclusive to the Xbox One to justify a purchase of that system.

This is from the last 6 months or so. The Return Fire CD is cracked unfortunately.
I like the little double sided poster that came with Kings Field II.

I see King's Field is a big deal among a lot of gamers these days - Never been into dungeon crawlers so it isn't for me personally. I just started updating them on the Database, there is now a Long Box & Standard Box variation of King's Field - Anyone who has the standard edtion of KF on their collection lists better re-check as I have made a clear distinction between the two now - http://playstationage.com/index.c...

Kingsfield  is kinda simplistic yet the exploration is really fun I would not compare it to allot of other dungeon crawlers. It is definitely one of the more interesting looking early 3D games.

If your oldschool you might like it but the grapics can be a downfall to more newer players.

There is also a kingsfield on Ps2 with superior grapics.

Finally Castlevania Symphony of the Night! It wasn't cheap (costed 300€, which is about 268£  but since everything is in 10/10 condition and i wanted the game for so long, i decided to get it and it's also my first play of a Castlevania game!
About Alundra, i was looking for a Zelda type game for my console and Alundra was the most popular search and it looks really promising so, decided to buy it aswell.

Congrats as far as castlevania rpg's goes this one remain at the top. The others are all handheld ones wich are less fun but overall still excellent.

I will say though while there might always be some on ebay, It's a very popular game that goes for allot wich is the reason why people put it on ebay allot faster if they need money resell etc.

over the years I've only seen very few copies in hands of people who still had some old stash left from the past wich are the chances to aquire them for very low prices.

Some say that the normal edition is more rare in my opinion the limited edition is allot more rare since I have seen those allot less than the normal version when people get rid of their stuff.

Thank you. Yeah, unfortunaly never saw the game in the wild... Not that i live in the best country for that either but if i would have started looking for the game 10 years ago, the story would have been totally different, as with any other high demand games that nowadays it's pay high or play emulator!
About the normal edition, never had any interest in it... I always wanted the extra content of the limited edition. About rarity, i was under the impression that both were common versions? With the difference being that the limited edition has much higher demand?
Anyway it was definitely my last big purchase with the first being Clock Tower, that i bought like 2 and half years ago for 200€ (was about 150£ (very far from a great deal i know but that's what you get when you buy with anxiety of getting something in the best condition as fast as possible (still amazing game nonetheless)!

Latest gatherings:

Delighted! Finally pinched GRANDIA! A PS1 title I have wanted to play for years, but obtaining one has been tricky - A lot of the prints on Ebay have this greatest hits version which cuts around the cover art with a boarder.
Some other interesting games like Dargoneer's Aria, a PSP RPG i've been eying up for months. Nanobreaker from the creators of Castlevania and Cold Fear - which looks to be a very interesting horror title.

Haven't seen any ps1 pickups from you in a while.

on ebay grandia blue border versions are pretty common in terms of the game grandia ps1, I will say though that I personally have seen pretty much only black border english box versions, I guess the classics ubisoft release was only common in certain countries It's not to common over here that's for sure.

Oh I have seen a Mixture of the Blue Ubisoft Exclusives lable and stndard black labels, but I found that the Balc Label was often at ta higher price and too much for what I wanted to pay for it. This one was not cheap by any means but in Mint condition and still around £20.

I don't buy PS1 games very often, I feel I have most of what I want for the system now, other than possibly Nightmare Creatures - But the 2nd games price is absurd so I'm not willing to commit to the series. I have over double the count of PS2 & PS3 games that I have of PS1 games, I think them systems just had more variety even if the PS1 holds more of my favoruite titles of any system. I've already exceeded more PS4 games than I have PS1 games, but a lot of them are ReMasters. Grandia is one of them classic JPRGs I've always wanted to try so I am looking forward to doing so when I can

While it is not the cheapest 20 pounds is a pretty good price a nice cib example sells for a bit more and that's without shipping. In my experience finding lower prices can be just as tough as finding them for a bargain. Since for a lower price It's usually somebody who knows what he or she has.

But I see your point in terms of prices as 20 pounds is expensive, You can get allot of ps3 and even ps4 games for allot less than 20 pounds that's for sure. And in terms of gameplay usually you can fill more hours.

That being said with certain new games you can either wait a few years when it becomes cheap or you could buy them on release for full price, and I'm not talking about value While you could wait a few years to wait for lower prices chances are that the community isn't as big anymore and this is especially the case with less popular titles, but also with more popular games it is nice to be there from the beginning.

I would only recommend it with games that you really want to play since such actions can be kinda pricy for the wallet, furthermore for many games it should not have to much of an influence, usually with online gameplay or games with tournaments It's a good idea to join in early for example smash bros or mario kart. Also the online FF games with online play would obviously have a way bigger community in the first few years of release kinda a must to play on release if you want the true experience for such games.

Oh I've always been much more stubborn in paying high prices for PS1/PS2 games, I guess it's just becasue I have seen them much cheapr in the past, even 10 years later I see pirces 2-5x times as much it makes me raw - Even if i know logically it makes sense

As for current games, I find I don't really play many online competitive games, Rocket League & killing Floor 2 I got with PS+ which are both excellent and still keep me busy with free updates, but they're not games I would buy physically because in time it will hold no value to me when the servers go + with all the updates having a online game on disc form is pretty redudant too.

I've set a new action plan for buying new games, If I see it has a monsterous Season Pass, I will wait until a Game of the Year' Edition - As I am sick of buying base games to find a better version coming out 6 months to a year later. There will be a couple of games which I HAVE TO BUY DAY ONE!!! But games I'm not so hyped on but have plent y of interest I am holding out for - Bethesda's Evil Within 2 & Wolfenstein 2 being a recent example. If it turns out they dont make a DLC Edition... well then I can jsut pick it up cheap and wait for the seaon pass to drop like Evil Within 1's did.

Got these in today, along with Armored Core I now have what I like to call the Holy Trinity of PS1 mech games. Very glad to get these, especially Carnage Heart which I havent played in 20 years. My brother first became interested in programming because of this game and I have some fond memories of it.

My gatherings of late, a SPOOKY lot at that!:

Glad to finally get a copy of Obscure 2, it wasn't cheap but very intersted to try out a co-op Survival Horror title. And delighted to get my Castlevania LoS titles too, had a whole fiasco about the DLC but Konami sorted it out and re-activated the code for the DLC, hoping to play these soon!

Sometimes I go hunting after genres or series, I was after a few good horror titles. The Sufferings & GhostHunter I forgot to put in my last pickups pic and I've been waiting on t he whole DLC fiasco with Castlevania to claim it mine. So this week, I only really got the other 3 titles. Around Halloween I intend to play Hidden Agenda, which is on its way as we speak!
